Infrastructure
You’ll stay in a very central location on Franzensgasse, a charming street lined with beautiful Biedermeier houses in the city center district of Margareten. Just around the corner is Vienna's most famous market, the Naschmarkt, offering plenty of shopping options, bars, and restaurants.
The 1st district, the historic city center, with landmarks like St. Charles Church, the Hofburg, City Hall, and the Spanish Riding School, is about a 10-15 minute walk away. Alternatively, you can take the subway for one stop to Karlsplatz. The U4-Kettenbrückengasse subway station is just a few minutes from the apartment.
Vienna’s most famous shopping street, Mariahilfer Strasse, is also about a 10-minute walk away. The MuseumsQuartier, home to the Mumok and Leopold Museum, is around 10-15 minutes on foot.
If you’ve had enough of the city and want a bit of greenery, the U4 subway line will take you in about 15 minutes to Schönbrunn Palace, where you can follow in the footsteps of Empress Sisi.
